This red granite monolith style sign is on the grounds of the Ernie Arena in Granite, Oklahoma. It is a rodeo and riding arena used by the local riding clubs. The arena was remodeled in 2004. This sign was dedicated to the memory of "Jim" James F Perry Jr. This sign is located at the intersection of Mountain Ave and Ann St in Granite, OK. This sign has a rugged rough edge that is left from the drill holes from quarrying the block of granite. Most of the time this rough edge is smoothed, but in this case the rough edge is used to help symbolized the ruggedness of the cowboys that use this arena.
